February Energy Tips
We have said many times in our writing and classes that our thought patterns and emotional predispositions are some of our biggest energy drains. They present us with some of our greatest challenges. But they are also where our greatest potential for claiming all our inner strength and power lie.
The problem of course is that working on this level requires our active participation and committed ongoing effort as opposed to placing a crystal and wishing for magic! We have nothing against crystals, use them ourselves. However, in the game called life, it seems that the deck is stacked in the direction of personal empowerment and growth—in the direction of learning to open to your deepest, best and more powerful SELF. That means developing the capacity to release all that keeps you from those aspects of yourself!
- Spend five minutes a day experiencing self acceptance
- Surrender is not giving up---it is a feeling of letting go of struggle and always trying to figure things out. Practice feeling surrender three times a day with a challenge you have currently.
- Tune into your body several times a day and notice if it is holding stress
- Identify what thoughts are contributing to your stress.
- Practice letting go of stressful thoughts with your out breath. On the in breath, feel filling up with life enhancing, relaxing, joy filled energy.
